October 27 – From FANGCHENGBAO's official channels, we learned that the brand's cumulative sales have surpassed 200,000 units. It took FANGCHENGBAO just 23 months from its launch to reach this significant milestone. Notably, the jump from 100,000 to 200,000 units was achieved in a mere five months, driven by the comprehensive efforts of its product matrix comprising the BAO 5, BAO 8, SUPER 3, and SUPER 7. Officials also revealed that FANGCHENGBAO will continue to expand its product lineup, offering users more diverse choices through a richer range of products and more groundbreaking technology.

FANGCHENGBAO's average monthly sales have surged by 173% compared to the same period last year, indicating strong upward momentum for the brand. In terms of user value, FANGCHENG BAO has effectively lowered the barrier to a personalized lifestyle by offering a variety of products. For BYD, the 200,000-unit mark for FANGCHENGBAO represents a crucial node in the group's strategic layout for the mid-to-high-end market. FANGCHENGBAO's average transaction price stands at 238,800 RMB. The BAO 5, as the sales leader with an average transaction price exceeding 250,000 RMB, accounts for nearly 50% of the brand's total sales, demonstrating stable market performance. Impressively, the top-tier version of the SUPER 7 was selected by 85% of its buyers.

Shortly before this announcement, the large five-seater version of the FANGCHENGBAO BAO 8 was launched, offering two configurations priced at 379,800 RMB and 399,800 RMB respectively. Its exterior continues the "Future Starship aesthetics" design language. Dimensionally, the BAO 8 measures 5195/1994/1875 mm (1905 mm including roof rails) in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2920 mm. In normal mode, it boasts an approach angle of 30°, a departure angle of 29°, a ramp breakover angle of 18°, and a ground clearance of 220 mm. With the Yunnan-P suspension raised to its highest setting, the maximum approach angle reaches 34°, the departure angle 35°, the ramp breakover angle 26°, and the ground clearance 310 mm.

In terms of driving assistance, the FANGCHENGBAO BAO 8 comes standard with the Huawei QIANKUN Intelligent Driving ADS 4.0 system. This system enables Navigation Guided Pilot (NGP) for seamless "parking space to parking space" coverage across various scenarios. It also includes comprehensive parking functions such as Remote Parking, Automated Valet Parking, and Remote Vehicle Moving. For powertrain, the BAO 8 utilizes the DMO plug-in hybrid platform. It is equipped with a 2.0T engine (compatible with 92-octane gasoline) producing a maximum power of 150 kW, paired with a 200 kW front and a 300 kW rear electric motor. This combination delivers a comprehensive output of 550 kW and a system torque of 760 N·m. With its intelligent electric four-wheel-drive system, the BAO 8 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. Additionally, it offers a pure electric range of 125 km and a comprehensive range of 1200 km. Its NEDC fuel consumption is rated at 8.5L/100km, and it supports a 6 kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) function.
